So it’s fun watching the Strandup “formula” evolve. Tonight was our second one, and it was held in Philadlephia, on the eve of the big Indy Hall One Year Anniversary bash.
We had a great crew out last night, and we talked about ourselves, and did our best to not mention tech. What did we learn? We found someone who loves ketchup, someone else who fences (there was a fella in Seattle who fenced too!), and that dirtbikers are all ages.

This weekend in Philly will be jam packed with awesomeness.
Saturday at 6:30pm ET is the first Philly Strandup, and it’ll be AT Indy Hall!!!
Sunday at 6:00pm ET is the 1 year anniversary party for Indy Hall at Triumph!!!
We’ll be livestreaming and taking lots of video and photos so if you can’t come out, have no fear!

So since our first Strandup was a success in Seattle, we wanted to do another one as soon as possible. We had a blast talking to y’all and hearing about what you’re into that doesn’t involve tech.
The next logical stop is Philadelphia, right? The co-working space Indy Hall is celebrating its first year anniversary so we’re going to be there to support them and have a Strandup the day before. Mark your calendars for this Saturday August 30th at 6:30pm ET. We’ll livestream and such but if you can be there, please come!

Strandups are Strands‘ new meetups that we’re taking coast to coast and everywhere in between.
What is it? It’s a gathering where every single person gets 30 seconds to talk about themselves. What music they like, what other tastes they have…anything. After they talk, then you can approach them and make friends! Think speed dating but without the dating (but you never know!). Strands prides itself on making recommendations to you, helping you find the things you might like but haven’t found yet.
So now we’re bringing into the real world with Strandups.
