A quick note for anyone who is going to be in town and planning to attend: you can augment your 30 second strandup pitch with 30 seconds of fame on &lt;a href="http://gumption.typepad.com/blog/2008/08/the-community-collage-at-trabant-a-proactive-display-in-a-cafe.html" rel="nofollow"&gt;the Community Collage (or CoCo)&lt;/a&gt; that Strands Labs Seattle recently deployed Trabant. Visual representations of your tastes can be added to an ambient collage of photos and quotes on the big screen in the cafe ... but only if you go to the cafe (it is a place-based social networking service for physical communities, rather than a more general SNS for virtual communities). Hope you all enjoy the speed friending!</description>
